The Cable Operations Division provides two municipal channels, which are received by all cable-subscribing residents in the City (approximately 72 percent of Oak Park's 11,400 households):

OPTV-15 carries programming 24 hours a day, every day. Cablecasts include a series of regular monthly presentations about other municipal departments, The Oak Park Report Update (a monthly news overview), live and taped presentations of City Council meetings, replays of major events (such as the Independence Day celebration), a bulletin board of dozens of frequently updated messages about events and activities, and a variety of special programs throughout each year

The division is liaison to Oak Park's Cable Television Advisory Commission, a chartered organization of citizen volunteers that provides ongoing input regarding programming policies.
