Human Resources/City Manager’s Department is here to assist employees who feel they have experienced an injury or illness during the course of performing their assigned tasks at the City of Oak Park.

Our goals:

  • Provide timely, appropriate and quality medical care for work-related injury/illness.

  • Provide timely wage loss benefits when appropriate.

  • Facilitate communication between employee, physician and supervisor.

  • Integration of light-duty functions to facilitate timely return to work.

  • Identify and eliminate fraud and abuse of the Workers’ Disability Compensation System.
